Tie pants string to avoid it coming out in the wash
Use a mild detergent and avoid fabric softeners
Vinegar can help with sweat odors
Don’t use bleach
Drying instructions:
Try not to let it sit in the washer too long after cycle
Hang to dry
Avoid direct sunlight, this can weaken the fibers
Dryer is discouraged, this may cause shrinkage and over time damage the collar.
If you choose to use the dryer, use a low heat or no heat setting
Stains and odors:
Rinse fresh stains in cold water, apply detergent to the stain, gently work into the stain, rinse and repeat if needed.
Blood can be treated by cold water rinse then apply ½ cup of hydrogen peroxide or small amount of white vinegar to stain, leave 5-10 min then blot with a clean wet cloth.
Soaking Gi overnight in vinegar/water solution 1-2 x month helps with the funk.
Followed by a regular machine wash.
