Training Etiquette:

  1. Kimono/GI - white or blue is required for BJJ class with club logo and academy patch
  2. Wear t-shirt or rashguard under Kimono top
  3. Keep your Kimono washed and cleaned regularly
  4. Jewelry is prohibited while training. Tape body piercings if they cannot be removed
  5. Finger nails and toenails are to be kept short and clean
  6. Don’t wear makeup-this can damage other students' GIs
  7. All minor cuts are to be covered at all times and stay off the mats if you have any skin infection
  8. If you are sick, please stay home to prevent passing sickness
  9. Shoes are not permitted on the mats. Please take shoes off upon entering the premise and place in the shoe storage
  10. Use foot cleaning spray prior to entering the dojo, this consists of diluted vinegar, tea tree, lavender and peppermint essential oil with a polysorbate carrier. If you have sensitivities to these products, please discuss this with us ahead of time so that we can accommodate your needs.
  11. We have a water fill station for participants, hydration is encouraged, please bring a non glass bottle.
  12. Our mats will be cleaned daily after training to keep your training space as safe as possible
  13. Bullying/intimidation will not be tolerated
  14. LEAVE YOUR EGO AT THE DOOR. TAP if you are submitted, injury is no fun. Stop if your training partner says tap or physically taps you. Know your training limitations.
